NextGen Doctors is a student-led organization supporting individuals experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles by creating and distributing health kits filled with essential necessities. Through supply drives and fundraisers, we assemble kits with items like mini toothbrushes, toothpaste, socks, bandages, menstrual products, and other hygiene and wellness supplies requested by local shelters and community partners. At the same time, we encourage student interest in healthcare through service, giving members a hands-on way to learn about health equity, community needs, and what it means to lead with empathy.
